How to Use Stock Adjustment in Tracepos
Sometimes you need to adjust your stock manually. Maybe some goods got damaged, or you received extra items. The Stock Adjustment feature in Tracepos helps you manage these changes clearly and easily.
This guide explains how to use it.
Where to Find It

Log in to your Tracepos dashboard

Click on Stock Adjustment from the main menu
What You Can Do
1. View All Adjustments
You’ll see a table showing:

Product name and image
-
Quantity adjusted (positive for adding, negative for removing)

Notes about why the change was made
-
Date and time of the adjustment
-
User who made the change
2. Add New Stock Adjustment
Step 1: Click the + Add Button
You’ll only see this button if you have the right permission (stock_adjustments_create)
Step 2: Enter the Details

Choose a product from the search input

Enter quantity (e.g., 5 to add, -3 to remove)

Add notes if needed (e.g., "damaged item" or "new stock received")
Step 3: Save

Click Save
-
It will appear in the table once added
3. Edit an Existing Adjustment
Step 1: Find the Adjustment in the Table
Step 2: Click Edit (you need stock_adjustments_edit permission)
Step 3: Update the product, quantity, or notes
Step 4: Click Save
4. Delete Adjustments
Single Delete:

Click the Delete button beside any record

Confirm the deletion
Bulk Delete:
-
Select multiple records with the checkboxes

Click Delete Selected
-
Confirm the action
You’ll need stock_adjustments_delete permission for this.
5. Search and Filter

Use the Product Search Input to find specific items

Filter by Warehouse — the table updates automatically

Filter by Date Range to see records from a specific period
