How to Add or Edit Stock Adjustments in Tracepos
Managing inventory means keeping things accurate. Sometimes, you’ll need to add stock, remove damaged items, or even convert one product into another. That’s what the Add/Edit Stock Adjustment tool in Tracepos helps you do.
Here’s how to use it.
How to Open the Stock Adjustment Form

Go to the Stock Adjustment section in your Tracepos dashboard

Click + Add to create a new adjustment

Or click Edit beside an existing one to make changes

A pop-up form (modal) will open
Steps to Add or Edit Stock Adjustment
1. Select the Product

Use the search bar to find the product
-
If it’s not in your list, click Add Product to create it
-
You’ll also see the Current Stock in the warehouse
2. Enter Adjustment Details

Quantity
-
Enter how much you want to adjust
-
Use positive numbers to add stock
-
Use negative numbers to remove stock
-

Adjustment Type
Choose one:-
Add — when you receive or find more stock
-
Subtract — for damaged, expired, or lost stock
-
Unit Conversion — when converting one product into another

Adjustment Reason
Pick a reason depending on the type:-
For Add: e.g., Purchase, Correction

For Subtract: e.g., Expired Stock, Damage

Batch and Expiry Info (if needed)

If you're removing expired stock, choose the batch and expiry date

3. Convert Units (Optional)

If you're converting one product into another:

Search and select the new product
-
Enter how many units you want to convert

4. Add Notes
-
Write any comment that helps explain the adjustment
5. Save or Cancel

Click Create to add a new record

Click Update to save edits
-
Click Cancel to close the form without saving
