How to Add or Edit Production Orders in Tracepos

The Add/Edit Production Order feature in Tracepos allows users to create or update production orders by specifying product details, production quantities, and other relevant information. This guide explains how to use the feature effectively.

Accessing the Add/Edit Production Order Modal

1. Navigate to the Production Orders section under Productions in the Tracepos dashboard.
2. Click the + Add button to create a new production order or the Edit button to modify an existing one.
3. The Add/Edit Production Order Modal will open, allowing you to input or update production details.

Steps to Add or Edit a Production Order

1. Select the Product

• Search for a Product:
  • Use the Product Search Input to search for and select the product for the production order.
  • If the product does not exist, click the Add Product button to create a new product.
• View Current Stock:
  • The Current Stock field displays the available stock for the selected product in the warehouse.

2. Enter Production Details

1. Quantity:

• Enter the quantity of the product to be produced.
• Ensure the quantity is greater than or equal to 1.

• Select the type of production from the dropdown menu (e.g., Manufacturing, Assembly).

• Use the Date Picker to select the date of production.

• Use the Date Picker to select the expiry date of the product (if applicable).

• Enter a batch number for the production order.
• Leave this field blank if no batch number is required.

3. Add Notes

• Use the Notes field to add any additional information or comments about the production order.

4. Save or Cancel

• Save:
  • Click the Create button to save a new production order or the Update button to save changes to an existing order.
  • If successful, the modal will close, and the production order will appear in the list.
• Cancel:
  • Click the Cancel button to close the modal without saving changes.
