Production Orders

The Production Orders feature in Tracepos allows users to manage and track production activities, including adding, editing, and deleting production orders. This guide explains how to use the feature effectively.

 

Accessing the Production Orders Page

  1. Navigate to the Productions section in the Tracepos dashboard.
  2. Select Production Orders from the menu.

 

Features Overview

1. Viewing Production Orders

  • The Production Orders table displays a list of all production activities, including:
    • Product: The product being produced.
    • Quantity: The quantity produced or removed.
    • Cost Price: The cost price of the product.
    • Batch Number: The batch number associated with the production.
    • Production Date: The date the production was completed.
    • Expiry Date: The expiry date of the product (if applicable).
    • Notes: Any additional notes related to the production.
    • Created At: The date and time the production order was created.
    • User: The user who created the production order.

 

2. Adding a New Production Order

  1. Click the Add Button:
  • Click the + Add button (visible if you have the production_orders_create permission).
Fill in the Details:
  • Enter the required details such as product, quantity, cost price, batch number, production date, and expiry date in the Add/Edit modal.
Save the Production Order:
  • Click the Save button to create the new production order.
  • If successful, the production order will appear in the table.

 

3. Editing a Production Order

  1. Locate the Production Order:
  • Find the production order you want to edit in the table.
Click the Edit Button:
  • Click the Edit button (visible if you have the production_orders_edit permission).
Update the Details:
  • Modify the necessary fields in the Add/Edit modal.
Save Changes:
  • Click the Save button to apply the changes.

 

4. Deleting a Production Order

  1. Single Deletion:
  • Locate the production order you want to delete in the table.
  • Click the Delete button (visible if you have the production_orders_delete permission).
  • Confirm the deletion in the confirmation dialog.
Bulk Deletion:
  • Select multiple production orders using the checkboxes in the table.
  • Click the Delete Selected button.
  • Confirm the deletion in the confirmation dialog.

 

5. Searching and Filtering

  1. Search by Product:
  • Use the Product Search Input to search for production orders by product name or ID.
Filter by Warehouse:
  • The table automatically updates based on the selected warehouse.
Filter by Date Range:
  • Use the date range picker to filter production orders by production or expiry date.

  • Dynamic Table:
    • View, search, and filter production orders in a responsive table.
  • Add/Edit Modal:
    • Easily add or edit production orders using a user-friendly modal.
  • Bulk Actions:
    • Perform bulk deletions for multiple production orders at once.

Permissions

  • Add Production Orders: Requires production_orders_create permission.
  • Edit Production Orders: Requires production_orders_edit permission.
  • Delete Production Orders: Requires production_orders_delete permission.

 

Troubleshooting

  • Save Button Disabled:
    • Ensure all required fields are filled in the Add/Edit modal.
  • No Data Displayed:
    • Verify that the selected filters match the available data.
    • Check if the correct warehouse is selected.
  • Search Not Returning Results:
    • Ensure the search term matches the product name or ID.
