Attendance Management

The Attendance Management feature allows administrators to track and manage staff attendance records efficiently.


Features

  • View Attendance Records:
    • View daily, weekly, or monthly attendance records for all staff members.
  • Mark Attendance:
    • Manually mark attendance for staff members who missed clocking in or out.
  • Filter Attendance:
    • Filter attendance records by date, department, or shift.
  • Export Attendance:
    • Export attendance records for reporting or payroll purposes.

Key Actions

  1. View Attendance:
  • Navigate to the attendance page to view attendance records.
  • Use the date picker to select a specific date or range.
Mark Attendance:
  • Click the Mark Attendance button to manually add attendance for a staff member.
  • Fill in the required details, such as clock-in and clock-out times.
Filter Attendance:
  • Use the dropdown menus to filter attendance by department, shift, or specific staff members.
  • Apply filters to narrow down the records.
Export Attendance:
  • Click the Export button to download attendance records in a preferred format (e.g., CSV, Excel).

Permissions

  • View Attendance: Requires attendance_view permission.
  • Mark Attendance: Requires attendance_manage permission.
  • Export Attendance: Requires attendance_export permission.

Troubleshooting

  • Missing Records:
    • Ensure the selected filters match the available data.
  • Export Issues:
    • Verify that the export format is supported and that the data is not too large.
  • Attendance Not Updating:
    • Check if the attendance data is being synced correctly in the system.
