How To Adjust Product Prices in Tracepos

1. Accessing the Price Adjustment Page

To access the Price Adjustment page:

• Login to Tracepos
• Select Price Adjustment from the menu to view and manage price adjustments.

2. Navigating the Page

Once on the Price Adjustment page, the interface is divided into several sections:

• Page Header:
  • Displays the title of the page and a back button to navigate to the previous page.
  • If any rows are selected in the table, a Save button will appear, allowing you to save the changes made.
• Breadcrumb Navigation:
  • A breadcrumb trail showing the current page's hierarchy, making it easy to navigate back to previous sections like the Dashboard or Price Adjustment List.
• Search and Filter Panel:
  • Allows you to search and filter products based on brand, category, and other attributes.
  • Filters include:
    • Search: Search by product name, code, or other attributes.
    • Brand: Filter products by brand.
    • Category: Filter products by category.

3. Adjusting Product Prices

Adjustment Settings

• Adjust Prices By:
  • Choose the type of price adjustment from the dropdown. Options include percentage-based or fixed value adjustments.
• Adjustment Value:
  • Enter the value by which you want to adjust the prices (either a percentage or fixed amount).
• Notes:
  • Add any notes regarding the price adjustment. This field is required.

4. Selecting Products for Price Adjustment

• Tabs for Product Types:
  • There are three product types that you can adjust:
    • Single Type Products: Products that do not have variations.
    • Variant Type Products: Products with multiple variations (e.g., size, color).
    • Service Type Products: Non-tangible items, such as services.
• Product Table:
  • A table is displayed with product information like name, category, brand, and sales price.
  • Select Products: Use checkboxes to select products for adjustment.
  • Adjusted Sale Price: The price after adjustment is displayed in a read-only field.

5. Saving the Adjustments

After selecting the products and setting the adjustment parameters:

• Click the Save button to apply the adjustments to the selected products.
• If no products are selected, the Save button will remain disabled.

6. Expanded View for Variant Products

For variant products (those with different sizes, colors, etc.), you can click to expand each product's row to view and adjust the variations. The following details are shown for each variation:

• Name: The name of the variation.
• Sales Price: The current sales price of the variation.

You can adjust the prices of these variations similarly by following the same steps as for single products.

7. Saving Changes

Once you are satisfied with your adjustments, ensure that you have selected the correct products, set the proper adjustment type, value, and notes, and click Save to confirm your changes.

Tips and Troubleshooting

• Ensure that all required fields (adjustment type, adjustment value, and notes) are filled in before saving.
• If the Save button is not active, double-check that at least one product is selected.
• If you encounter issues with filtering, make sure the filter settings are applied correctly and adjust the search parameters.

This feature allows you to easily manage and adjust product prices in bulk, making it easier to respond to market changes or promotions.
